SalesNOW allows you to save an email from the BlackBerry Messages Area to a SalesNOW contact and automatically store a copy of the email within SalesNOW.
To Save to SalesNOW an email from within the BlackBerry Messages area, do the following:
In the BlackBerry Messages area, highlight the email that you would like to Save to SalesNOW and click the trackball
Highlight Save to SalesNOW and click the trackball
Notice that if the email is from an email address that matches an email address of a SalesNOW contact, the system will automatically associate this email to that contact (and their associated company record)
If the email is from an email address that is not stored on a contact record within SalesNOW, you can manually associate this email to a contact. To associate the email to a specific contact,
Select an existing contact by clicking the magnifying glass and clicking on the contact name to which you would like to associate. (Note: if the contact is associated with a company, that company will automatically be associated to the Deal as well.), or
Add a new contact by clicking the green plus sign and entering the contact information, pressing the Escape key and clicking Save
To associate the deal to a specific company,
Select an existing company by clicking the magnifying glass and clicking on the company name to which you would like to associate, or
Add a new company by clicking the green plus sign and entering the company information, pressing the escape key and clicking Save
If you would like to associate this email to a lead or deal, click the magnifying glass next to Lead/Deal field and select the Lead or Deal that you would like to associate to this email
Highlight Save and click the trackball to save this email to SalesNOW
